Breaking News: JaGoFF is currently the "Featured Artist" on TheRecordIndustry.com

Founded in 1998, as a bedroom beat, mental-masterbation, Chicago's JaGoFF is the musical intersection of where ever waste dumps and abondon factories meet the $5 lap dance and HAM radio. It is lo-fi. subversive, sweet soul polluted by lost weekends of sweaty booty, downtempo breakbeats and massive bass. Perversely honest, strangely beautiful and badass funky.

Why this name?
Everyone has been calling me that since birth.
Do you play live?
We are primarily playing Chicago clubs at the moment, because we are in the midst of finishing up the new release. So it is great to test out the new material. Our shows are definitely over the top and not for the faint of heart.
Your influences?
OutKast, Richie Hawton, D'Angelo, DJ Assault, Lauryn Hill, Autechre, Curtis Mayfield, P-Funk, Sly Stone, Q-Tip, Prince, Stevie Wonder, DJ Funk, plastikman, Kraftwerk, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Ween, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Zappa and a helluva lot more.
Favorite spot?
Chicago's South Side, Yo.
Equipment used:
Anything we can get our hands on analog, digital, actual or virtual. If its jiggles or goes funk, we use it.
