Band History:
Latvian surf-rock band B-Sea Surfers (Baltic Sea Surfers )appeared in 2005, when the leader of the band Igor heard The Lively Ones’ album and was simply mesmerized by surf-music, the sound of guitars and the style of playing. Before that Igor used to play in a punk band called Piter Pistol, where they sometimes played music from different Tarantino albums, such as Dick Dale’s “Miserlou”, The Lively Ones’ “Surf Rider”, etc. By the year 2005 Piter Pistol broke up, and Igor decided to play surf-music by himself, recording instruments on computer and using drum samples. Later on he recorded a demo-album “Surfing in my Room” and met The Vivisectors frontman Misha Antipov, who helped Igor a lot. In summer 2006 Igor and his brother Ruslan recorded “Latvian Surf Bay” album. After that Igor started working with new material, but by autumn 2007 he decided that he wanted a fully fledged band. So he invited his old friends: guitarist Vlad, beginner-drummer Kate, and also guitarist Misha from the former Piter Pistol. To this moment the new album recording is put aside, and the band works with new stuff, experiments with styles and sounds, and prepares for future performances.
