Anarchy Jones
NEWS
After not checking this site for months, I return to find out that "At the Fountain (then my path will be clear)" was in the top 100 for acoustic rock! I don't know if they do that for everyone, but if they don't, Thanx to all the people who voted for it. I will be adding some new songs soon, so if anyone is interested check my site!

I am AJ known as Anarchy Jones. I write all my own music with the occasional help from my friends. Its all recorded on my old beat up 6 string named Faithful, or a 12 string with 8 strings on it. I do all the vocals(which isn't necessarily a good thing)and perform any version of percussion on a song. I do percussion with an old Cheap Yamaha drum machine or beating on stuff, and sometimes vocally. Ocassionally you will hear an old casio mini-keyboard with sampling and an old fire alarm bell pulled out of an old folks home around Northumberland PA. The jist of is, its all done very cheaply, but i only wish to showcase the songs I have been writing since I was about twelve.
Why this name?
Anarchy Jones is used to explain a feeling. Anxiously waiting for the day we all start living our days as if they were our own, to do with what we please.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet has opened the music industry to everybody. The record companies no longer run the show. You can listen to anyone your willing to look for. I think this allows musicians to write what they want instead of what is profitable.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I'd prefer not too.
Your influences?
Everyone...Dimebag Darrell because his riffs came from his heart not just a scale. Stevie Ray Vaughn, his rhythum guitar was as impressive as his lead guitar and he played them at the same time!!!
Favorite spot?
Pittsburgh PA, Morgantown WV, BFE with trees around me. Vegas is pretty cool, too.
Equipment used:
Fender 6 string acoustic, Alverez 12 string acoustic (with 8 strings on it) Twelve dollar microphone(i recently got like a 30$ mic, it's fancy), Yamaha drum machine(most new beats are created by Acoustica Beatmix software, it's pretty Cheap and I think it sounds very Good), casio keyboard, fire alarm bell. and what ever else i beat on to sound like a drum.
Anything else...?
Anything is here!
