A six-piece from St. Louis who try to use their instruments for a unique and pleasing musical composition. We're currently writing new tunes and touring a bit in support of our new EP which has just been released.

Presently unsigned.
Do you play live?
We play in the St. Louis, and Springfield areas of Missouri, in the United States, but have one eye open and looking outside of these places to bigger and better cities.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's completely changed the way bands can promote, they way people find out about new great music, and the sense of community that goes along with that.
It'd probably our most valuable promotion tool.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, sometimes nessasary evils are put up with to achieve your goals.
Band History:
Formed in the spring of 2004, Sleepwalker has graced the stages of Mississippi Nights, the Hi-Point Bar, Kirkwood's Outdoor Ampitheater, The Delmar Loop's Cicero's, Springfield's Nathan P's Murphy's among others. Contacting a young Audio engineer in Springfield, MO, we were able to record a small three-track EP which has now been finished. Continuing to gig, and write new material, we hope that our effort will build steam and attract new and interesting people. Open ears with an open mind.
Your influences?
We take our influences form all sorts of bands, but he ones I'd care to write down include:
Sigur Ros, A Perfect Circle, Radiohead, Mum, Mogwai, Einsturzende Neubauten, Mono.
Favorite spot?
Our fav city is definitely Chicago!
Equipment used:
Drum kit, two percussion instraments we made; one called "Switchblade" and the other called simply "the object", two electric guitars (one bowed and one not), a Violin, Rhodes Piano, Keyboards, Bass Guitar, and finally Acoustic Guitar.
