PROEM:

Never EVER hesitate to contact me! I am desperate for your attention (suggestive?) well, not THAT desperate! Haha... but seriously: LOVE ME YOU TWATS!!! hehehe...

Don't not check out my myspace (/barkov) and all that jazz!

Hi, this is Barkov: Deedge Hay and Prodiousser.

I love to produce and compose tracks in the methods of progressive productions, yet my style can be anything from techno to trance, hard trance and house... I'm pidgeonholed up my own arse, im that pretentious. I'm also surprised you've read this far without throwing up! Well done...

I have taken on this alias after many years as The Floating Poet, as my electronica got boring, due to the NON-able-to-dance-to traits of my music.
Why this name?
I can't remember; probably too much vodka in my blood when signing up for something...
Do you play live?
Never, although if i can ever afford to, i'd buy samplers and drum machines. Something on the scale of orbital or underworld....
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Musicians have became their own professional PR teams, and everyone's a photographer. Artists have the ability to become more accessible than ever. But the other way is that it allows us to produce 21st century sh*** and be able to release it digitally without the searing ears and hands of record companies. Like the difference between Playstation and Saturn.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course. I need the studio time to produce anything decent. 1 week at home i can produce an album. One night in a studio i can produce something amazing but only one....
