Dashti Bochhor Pore (Ten years later ...)
Okay ... as you have finally found us in web ... here is a quick intro:
We all came from West Bengal, India ... more specifically from the Calcutta the "City of Joy" and live in various parts of US. However we were unable to forget our past and the tunes from home always kept ringing within our head.
So we formed UJAAN ... to express ourselve.
Rest is history ... and instead of speaking we rather sing to it ...

Why this name?
"Ujaan" in bengali means "Against the flow" ... we believe that we bring on the simplicity and freshness by floating against the complicated world of today.

Band History:
It all started during Thanksgivings of 2005 and we are publishing our first CD in August, 2006.
