Welcome to Living Waters Jazz small corner of SoundClick. Since the late 1990's, Living Waters Jazz has entertained thousands world wide with Christian Big Band music. The band's current make-up features 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 4 saxes and rhythm. Our styles reach back as far as the 1930 to 1950's to a mixture of some modern day.
Starting back in 2013 Living Waters Jazz switched gears. Living Waters Jazz morphed from jazz ensemble to a company. The Living Waters Jazz (also known as LWJ) created our own studio and began creating commercial play-alongs for jazz, lite 60's rock and independent Christian music found on the web.
Our repertoire here at Soundclick is now a sampling of full demos of our products and ensemble works. To hear the full line of play-along product visit at your convenience. Give us a listen and if you like what you see and hear, sign up for the Living Waters Jazz newsletter.
The LWJ play-alongs came from a desire to fill a personal need for inspirational based play-alongs. Thus began over two and a half years of revamping our own small but comfortable Living Waters Jazz studio, learning new mixing techniques and even developing our own! Living Waters Jazz even had to learn publishing and web designing to a greater degree than LWJ had before.
Living Waters Jazz hopes you enjoy the new sound, the Play-along product line and the new website!
Living Waters Jazz is originally conceived in or about 1999. As each arrangement was completed I posted the audio here on Soundclick. Over ten years later Living Waters Jazz has gone through several changes which includes one commercial release and now a Play-along product line.
Studio only.
Big Band Swing as typified by The Swing Era. Bebop. Modern variations. Elevator music. Some Latin. Lite-rock.
The Living Waters Jazz studio is a home studio acoustically prepped with most of the hardware being two sets of studio monitors, a single set of smaller but good computer speakers, M-Audio's MBox3, a small variety of decent microphones and computer. You can see the Living Waters Jazz studio on the studio page of www.livingwatersjazz.com
I was a music major (sax & bassoon) in college IUP and then joined the Navy, auditioned for the Navy Bands and was accepted but ventured into Bio-Medical Repair instead. After leaving the Navy I eventually started my own business in 1992 (PC Workstations) after working for a variety of local computer companies and have been doing that since providing computer retails sales, service and repair, writing business software, creating train routes for popular computerized train games and now a Play-along series as Living Waters Jazz .
