Why this name?
My love of Howlin Wolf's music, coupled with my disdain of most religious Dogma.
Do you play live?
Yes, we play as often as possible. Mostly in the Mammoth Lakes, Owens Valley area's of Calif.
We love playing live, that's what it's really all about! We dig it when the crowd gets sweaty, and dance's all night.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well,....How else would YOU have ever heard our music?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We'll never have a snowballs chance in Hell of being asked, so it doesn't really matter!
Band History:
Howlin' Dogma came together in 2001.

This isn't your typical "Retro" type blues band. You won't find Fedora's, Zoot suits, or two-toned shoes here.

We're not trying to recreate anything. we picked it up where we found it, and are trying to take it with us where were going.

This is much more like the Rockin' Blues of the 1970's.

Blues with a little harder edge.

This is the kind of music you find in the roadhouses, and neighborhood bars.

The kind you ride your Harley out to see. The kind you go out to drink, dance, and sometimes fight to!

Music of the people, by the people, and for the people.------------American Music !
