I love a simplistic free life. I've experienced seasons of great freedom of space, but I'm happy planted too. I've experienced great freedom in my musical expression, but I'm happy with a collection of genres too. I've experienced great freedom in my worship, but I'm happy with the worst conservatism (in public). I've experienced great freedom in the supernatural that God has taken me through and brought to this world through me and I will never be satisfied with or succumb to complacency when it comes to the freedom afforded the Holy Spirit in my life. Roll thunder, roll.
Why this name?
On the next album it'll be JosephDunagan if I'm still "single" in that respect, but for a long time I really dug Joey.
Do you play live?
Live it where it's at. The last tour I did was an open mic binge in southern California. The biggest crowd was 4/20/2002 at the Washington Monument in front of a full hill. 10's of thousands..
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I sure hope it changes the christian music industry. Read "Snakes in the Lobby" by Scott MacCleod. Fire! Hot!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course, if God led me that way. It all disgusts me though so it would have to be Him.
