Bolivion is a band from Tallahassee Florida, All four band members attend Florida State University and all four members love music and love creating and just hanging out and playing.
Why this name?
It's actually a misnomer by Mike Tyson. He was asked what he planned on doing after Boxing, he said, "I dunno, I guess I'll just fade into Bolivion." We found this funny. Not that we're talking sh*** about Mike Tyson, we like our ears.
Do you play live?
Bolivion has played live, we love playing live, our first show was amazing. Nothing beats the rush of being on stage. No Drug could ever top that feeling.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes the industry a lot but for the better. New Mediums always mean new challenges for the record labels and instead of trying to shut it down they should try and use it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah we would... we want our music to get heard.
Band History:
We just started jamming in the basement of Landis Hall at FSU and soon enough we were on a computer recording songs and hanging out and having fun. it just came together like that.
Your influences?
This is what's so great about our band. We're all influenced by different things and when it all comes together it's a very unique sound. One likes punk like Blink-182 and another Incubus, and still another Jimmy Eat World and another Rap like 50 Cent and it just all comes together.
Favorite spot?
We all love Tallahassee.
Equipment used:
Just our guitars/basses voices and crappy amps.
Anything else...?
We just really love playing music and we love having people listen to our music so we hope you enjoy and any feed back would be great!
