These promotional tracks are from South Florida DJ Doom Style straight out of
"Po-Town" Deerfield Beach, Florida. After years of doing local shows and events from behind two turntables and a microphone with his crew, the "Bass Sonic DJ's" , he is ready to step into the big times doing what he loves best; entertaining the masses. Doom Style is ready to add some "new flava" to the dirty south hip-hop scene. With the support of his label mates, Doom Style has the burden of launching and representing his new label TUFF-LIFE RECORDS which was born out of the need for a local record label that recognizes and gives local talent a chance to shine, from the underground to the main stream. Doom Style and the production team at TUFF-LIFE RECORDS is currently producing his debut album consisting mainly of that serious dirty south flava with a few clubtracks to get your heads bumping and your minds thumping. Doom Style promo singles "SHAKE DAT MONKEY" and "720 DEGREES", are prelude to his straight up versatility as a serious rapper who can put it down for the clubs and the streets.
Why this name?
I received the name DOOM STYLE from the gang
I ran with in my old apartment complex. They called the apartment complex Doom City. I kept the name alive by becoming a DJ. I dropped the "city" and added the "style" and became a famous neighborhood DJ selling mixed tapes and doing parties with my crew, "The Bass Sonic DJ's" in "Po-town" Deerfield Beach, Florida.
Do you play live?
Live performance was my "m'o" because i was also a party/mix tape dj known as the bass sonic dj's.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Having tracks readily available for fans to hear is is incredible. The best and most cost effective
promo was always word of mouth. The internet revolutionized this process. It is great, man!!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Well the whole purpose of this is to gain substancial publicity and a solid fan base which will hopefuly result in some sort of interest from the majors. But I am willing to put the brunt of the work in succeed.
Your influences?
Dirty South Rap, West Coast Rap ,Miami Bass Music
Favorite spot?
Of coarse I got to go with my home town Deerfield Beach, Fla.
