Mrk 4 Def Records is a limited liability corporation founded by D3lta and W.I.cked. Mrk 4 Def is an artist driven label, designed for artists by two very dedicated artists. We've seen the large scale industry so we're working from the grass roots level to bring music back to where it belongs, about the music.

Why this name?

We were watching a Van Dame flick, Marked for Death. So we changed it a bit, and we got Mrk 4 Def.

Do you play live?

Yes, we do. We've played at multiple venues. Every time we go out it's special, what's better than seeing a group of strangers sway and jump together and sing your every word?

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Internet music sites have both made stars out of regular people that other wise wouldn't get noticed, and also made stars out of people who probably shouldn't have been noticed to begin with.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

We're actually signed to ourselves. We'd sign with a major for distribution, or acquirement, but of course the deal needs to be right.

Favorite spot?

Chester, Pa.

Digidesign 002r, Presonus Eureka with the digital add in. CAD mics, Presonus Tube Pre...lots of effects. Reason 3.0. Pro Tools software (obviously)
