I wanted to take a more minimalist approach to my music, so the word reduction was the motto and ultimately became the name; with a slight change in spelling - Re: dux tion

Do you play live?

Yes, I do play live and hope to play a lot more once i finish recording the newest songs. I'll play anywhere they will have me. Playing live is one of my greatest loves.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet has completely changed the game. You no longer need to go through the major label machinery to get your music released and into the hands of the listener. I am an internet artist and proud of it!

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

NO! it's not worth the aggro. I don't think they would know what to do with me anyway..

Re: dux tion,” Leaving only what is necessary”. Re: dux tion – “down to its’ essence”. Created in 2005, Re: dux tion is the solo-project of Christophe G. Besides Re: dux tion, Christophe is also a member of Drug of Choice and a former member of Die My Darling, Immaculate Corrosion and Wardrobe Cathedral. As a remixer, Christophe has remixed songs for Fr/action, Heat From A Deadstar and Ganymede.

“Re: dux tion is a mixture of all my influences. It allows me to mix all the various types of music that I like into one. In some way I am trying to explore the commonality amongst various forms of music. With this project I am able to create without any restrictions or compromises. There is a feeling that there is “no wrong” all is possible”.
