The Swingline Band was founded in Minot, ND. It consists of various professional artists from around our beautiful city.
We play for most special occasions such as conventions, banquets, parties, holidays, theatre, concerts, weddings and more.
The band is scalable in size. We can be anything from a small jazz or blues band up to a 12 piece orchestra with vocals.

Why this name?
Simple, the band name is all about swing music mostly from the 30's and on.
Your influences?
Big Band and Swing. It's all jazz based music from people like Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Joe Garland, Benny Goodman and also writers like Jerry Gray, Irving Mills and Sammy Nestico. More modern composers would be like Neal Hefti and Sammy Cahn.
