This is Gunt.
Why this name?
The word stuck in my head.
Do you play live?
First live show is in progress.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It got my noise out there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would be happy to sign a record contract, if it allowed me total artistic freedom.

In other words, no.
Band History:
Gunt was formed in the year of 2004. Gunt started off on a somewhat novelty band. All of these recordings, and a few later ones were lost in a computer crash. Somewhere between then and now, Gunt moved away from the novelty stuff and started to make noise. All Gunt songs are recorded at home by one man on a computer with various things around the house. Gunt's first live show is coming up soon, and there are more to come. Gunt is self described as horror noise. This term was mainly influenced by two things. The first being the band's member's love for horror (fiction and non-fiction). The second being the harsh/abrasive nature of the songs.
Your influences?
Tenticular Genocide and Non mainly. Chances are pretty good that without them there would be no Gunt.
Equipment used:
Roland Sh-201, Rupture, bare cables, brhringer mixer, circuit bent stuff, theremins, contact microphones, vinyl records, whatever I can get my hands on pretty much. Oh yeah, and a bunch of pedals. Older Gunt was made 100% on the computer, newer stuff is recorded by placing a small microphone near my amp and having that record onto my computer, where I layer it.
Anything else...?
Death to false noise.
