Everyone, get ready. I'm Serious Mysterious, and I pride my self in trying new sounds for the hip-hop industry! So listen, it's not like anything you've heard.
Why this name?
It came up randomly
Do you play live?
I would like to play live but I'm just a beatmaker, not an actual band. Although I'm sure I could pull it off somehow
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
A great deal, it's better for the fans. Artists do get more added on exposer, i don't see anyharm.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
To write songs? Yes!! Of course it would all depend on the situation.
Band History:
I started playing the piano since I was about 6 years old, I've never had a lesson but had a passion for music. I started making "beats" in my sophmore year in highschool! Thats when I decided to give it a shot. I have produced one album with my own unsigned label "Tru Dat Records" called "Sub-Xero: King of the Suburbs" in which I wrote 13 out of the 15 beats used. I'm a solo kind of person, when I do work with others I have to know that musically we think alike or I can't stand it. I currently am writing my own music because it gives me control over everything, however I do like working with others because in a lot of cases it makes the music better.
Your influences?
Ambient hip-hop, Fort-Minor, All my beats have a uniqueness that I can't possibly
Favorite spot?
L.A. Although Carmel is cool too.
