Ever since I started writing and rappin, I have mangled mic's with ruthless aggression. Since my first name is Mike, I watched the Mangler one day and put 2 & 2 together. Hence the name, Mike the Mangler.

I have performed in shows and even a church. I thought I would not do good my first time, but I wasn't scared at all and I can't explain the rush I got. I have turned down shows recently for poor mangement. Just being in shows are special moments to me.

It has helped and hurt it. It has helped it by allowing artists like me get heard everywhere without actually going everywhere. It has hurt it though by the many ways of downloading.

OF COURSE, THAT IS THE WHOLE GOAL. I would love to get my label Fire Records off the ground, but in todays time you need that backing of major labels to get you that extra push.

I have been writing and rapping for 8 years now. I went through a couple of different styles until I reached the level I am at now. I have 8 albums completed, 2 collaborations with Johnny Danger of Salisbury, NC, and I have been on several local mixtapes. Also been featured on Power 98 FM in Charlotte, NC. Did shows and performed in a church concert with a song about real life.

Life itself influences me. People give me my subjects to write about everyday. In the music business, people like Ludacris, Camron, & Jay-Z influence me on the rapping tip. But on production influences, producers like Kanye West, Neptunes, Timberland, and Swizz Beats.

In my studio. I feel comfortable knowing music is being recorded.

I use a Korg Keyboard, Roland 808 trackboard, Roland Sampler, Music Generator, and a AudioTechnica Studio Condenser Microphone.

Since I am a white rapper, I have made my style of rap like no other white rapper doing it. Just listen to my lyrics, I can rhyme the same phrase for the whole verse, fast or slow, anyway you want it. I have made songs about Battling, life, money, girls, cars, drugs, fake people, sports, food, you name it and I do it.I type all of my songs and verses to keep them handy and neat in a notebook with protective sleeves (OVER 350 VERSES READY FOR ANYTHING!!).
