We are almost done with a full length album entitled "To The Death Of A Day" coming out in mid-October 2008. We are looking for ANYONE who wants to hear it. We are basically a non-for-profit band just wanting to be heard and looking for anyone who wants to get a cd, listen to it, and let us know what they think. Aaron Kingham: acoustic guitar, bass guitar, back up vocals

Why this name?

Mature Addiction .....our mature addiction is basically music...we can't live with out it.............and booze. We like that too!

Do you play live?

Yes we have played a few shows live in small towns such as Sublette, Sterling, and Dixon Illinois. THe most special moment has to be our first live show when we opened for "After the Fall" and 200 or more people were there. We were so nervous, but it was a great feeling because we didn't get booed off the stage, but instead received cheers!

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

Obviously it has, just on the basis of everyone getting to hear stuff they never would have. Its a great tool for us unsigned artists and also artist who enjoy listening to each other's music in order to hear, review, and listen to everyone's sounds. It helps us all grow as musicians.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Of course..... i'd also sell my soul if u asked nicely too.

Band History:

Started In 2002 and constantly re-inventing ourselves. We try to deliver the best acoustic-rock available and have some fun with it too. Just give us a listen.

Your influences?

well...i like to think our music is original , but because we are acoustic I guess I'd say some Dave Matthews , but our fave bands are nothing like us and they include Metallica, Blink, Sum 41, Limp Bizkit, Green Day, etc.

Favorite spot?

Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin. We love the midwest. Always willing to try out new cities.

Equipment used:

We use acoustic - electric guitars. Jeff's is a white Washburn and Aaron's is an Ibanez. We record using a Tascam Pocketstudio 5. We mastering using Cool Edit Pro 2.0. Also have some new microphones and we do the best we can capturing sound in a bedroom!!!!!!!!
