Mamapalooza has two completed compilation CDs, Mamapalooza Volume 1 & II. We welcome distribution opportunities.
Band History:
Starting on a single stage in New York City in 2002, Joy Rose and her band 'Housewives On Prozac' hosted the first ever Mamapalooza Festival. It has grown to over 32 locations in 2006 with outdoor stages, parks and cultural departments, clubs and theaters celebrating artists from around the world, annually during the months of MAY/JUNE. Each event is currently organized and executed under a licensing program, with individual Regional Coordinators and local sponsors. The women of Mamapalooza have a wide array of musical styles: Rock, pop, blues, r&b, folk, comedy, punk, country- you name it. Mostly inventing an original new music form called Mom Rock!

We celebrated our Fifth Year this year, May 2006. We've been featured on every major newstation and publication: NPR, CNN, Good Morning America, LA & NY Times, BBC, London Times. We are just waiting for the music industry to recognize that women do NOT have an expiration date and that the 'Women Of Mamapalooza' kick butt. Every stage is chock full of talent and high entertainment and we have audiences of over 10,000 with web hits of 1/2 million per two month period. Mom Music is soaking into the culture faster than spilled soda on car upholstery.
