Hello, my name is Luis Martinez, and I'm an amateur composer from Texas. Well, I was born in Guatemala and moved here a while back. I use EWQLSO with Sonar 4 to write my music. I am a sophmore at a Texas highschool and loving it. I hope you enjoy my music.
Why this name?
It's...my...name?
Do you play live?
We would love to play live, but first we need to start an orchestra (which we're in the process of doing), practice, and find places to play.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes it greatly. Now original soundtracks are made synthetically instead of live recordings. But then again, "if the technology's there, then use it."
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure, I don't see why not.
Your influences?
W.A. Mozart, L. Beethoven, Brahms, Pachelbel, Chopin, Vivaldi, John Williams, Elliot Goldenthal ("The Gift" from Sphere), Hans Zimmer, Thomas Newman, and Klaus Badelt.
Favorite spot?
Almost anywhere in Puerto Rico.
Equipment used:
I use EWQLSO Silver with Sonar 4. And I sometimes use Finale 2006 to help with creating scores.
Anything else...?
ENJOY!
