Steel Whiskey was formed in 2003, from then we have worked our hardest to try to meet all the expectations of our fans, and supporters. We have been blessed by some very supportive people since we have started. When we first started playing we started playing in Jody's garage at his house with barely any gear. We have since earned enough through playing to get everything rolling to have all the gear that we need to bring ours fans the sounds that they deserve to hear. It has been our pleasure from day one to be able to look out at the crowd and know that they are enjoying our music, that is bigger than any paycheck we might get. We have spent alot of the time in the summer of 2005 writing and recording our originals for a CD we just got finished with. Hopefully we can get our music heard by as many people as possible and bring our music to as many people as possible. Rock On Steel Whiskey
Why this name?
After hours of deliberation
Do you play live?
We play wherever we can to get out and play for people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Gets people heard who otherwise would not have had a chance.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Next year, "yes" Next month, "yes" Next week, "yes"
Tommorow, "YOU DAM RIGHT"
Your influences?
Steel Whiskey, not any one band really comes to mind because of the influences that we all have. Probably Hank Williams Jr., Lynard Skynard, SRV, Bruce Springsteen, John Mellancamp, Bob Segar, would probably give you a good idea about our sound.
Anything else...?
