Why this name?
I went through a lot of different names when i was rapping. The First name i had was Dr.Rapper-(a take off Dr.Dre) and that was in 1998. Then i changed my name to MC_Alex in 2001 for a while and then i changed it back to Dr.Rapper in 2002. I Hooked up with fellow rapper Tha Epik and then he gave me the idea to change my name to Streetz so i did when that happened i noticed a great change in my music. Then Some people were saying that my name was too "Gangster" so I changed it to Li'l Soh. But i coulnd't get away from Streetz so i went back to Streetz..Then in 2004 I met a Rapper named Emcee_Streetsdaghost we battled and i got defeated,so I decided to change my name and not worry about the idea their might be 2 Streetz in the Industry... Later on,I had a Dream that this HUGE Cobra came up from out of a pavement road and was face to face with this Venomous Komodo Dragon, The Cobra Spit a Toxic Blast that Obliterated the Dragon and then went back under the street where the name "Venomous X Da Street Cobra" was left on the Wall...I saw that i knew thats the way i viewed the rap game. All emcees were a target that i wanted to "Obliterate" So i chose the FINAL name of Venomous X Da Street Cobra.
Do you play live?
The most recent show I did was in 2010 where he shared the stage with Gemstar and Hard Target at 3 Diamond’s Night Club in Sanford North Carolina. Venomous X was the first one to perform and did a song called I’m Back. "Not realizing that we had 10 minutes to perform I only did one song…I learned afterward that I had more time so I could have preformed another song.” Hard Target and Gemstar showed up after Venomous X preformed so they had a good conversation at the show. After Hard Target and Gemstar preformed Hard Target and Venomous X had a good conversation about music and enjoyed a freestyle session of their own. It was definitely a great moment for me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The Internet can me a good thing, and it can be a bad thing. Its a good thing because people can put your songs on their..IPOD....MP3 Players..and they can burn then on to CD's and play then in a Walkman....Car...Home Stereo...that is what you call "Free advertising" it can help get you across...But at the same time it is a bad thing...Because you don't know what kind of people are out their...there might be some White Guy who is a rapper who is looking to make it big and he needs a song, and he might look at your page, see a song he likes, check the lyrics and if he can find the beat, then he may take your song and the preform it as his own. People need to be careful and double check their work to make sure they're music is getting the proper credit that it needs or else you might as well as Jadakiss says "Kiss tha game goodbye" Because if your not careful everyone is going to be saying the exact same thing and there is going to be no originality...and that is not good.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Once upon a time i would have...but now....NEVER they may screw me over and leave me hanging for 3 YEARS.
Band History:
I started out just putting on freestyles in my neighborhood when i was in Germany. Kids would always give me headphones with as Song by Xzibit or Emineim playing and i would lipsync the songs and all my friends were like dang...so i decided to start writing.I wrote a few songs and they were pretty good, Then When i changed my name to Streetz I began doing a lot more work on my songs. Then in 2004 i became a battler and i have an amazing battle record. So now i have dedicated myself to doing all 3....Freestyling off the top of the dome....Writing Songs...and Rap Battling anyone if the atmosphere is right.

KAY MAC: 'SUP VENOMOUS X MY MAN HOW IS IT HANGING?
VENOMOUS X:YO WASSUP KAY MAC? I'M DOING GOOD
KAY MAC: YOU GOT TIME FOR AN INTERVIEW RIGHT QUICK? I KNOW A LOT OF CATS
WOULD WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOU AND WHY YOU IN THE RAP GAME.
VENOMOUS X: fa sho Kay Mac! Let's do it!
KAY MAC:OK FIRST OFF HOW DID YOU CHOOSE THE NAME VENOMOUS X?
VENOMOUS X I went throught a lot of different names when i was rapping.
The First name i had was Dr.Rapper-(a take off Dr.Dre) and that was in 1998.

so I decided to change my name and not worry about the idea their might be 2 Streetz in the Indusrty...
Later on,I had a Dream that this HUGE Cobra came up from out of a pavement road
and was face to face with this Venomous Komodo Dragon,

All emcees were a target that i wanted to "Oblitorate" So i chose the FINAL name of Venomous X Da Street Cobra.
KAY MAC: WOW THAT WAS VERY DETAILED INFORMATION...DO YOU HAVE ANY SUPERSTIONS THAT YOU DO WHEN YOU WRITE?
VENOMOUS X:I always have to lisiten to Delta Zeta Kappa (DZK-Real name Andrew Jackson) Before i wirte veurses...
Many people hate him...some people love his work.
But he has show me that if you put your heart in your music and
you take pride in what you write there is nothing that can stop you from making it
KAY MAC:WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT DJ CLUE AND DESERT STROM TRYING TO SQUASH ALL THE BEEF IN HIP-HOP??
VENOMOUS X: Pesronally...i think DJ Clue is better off trying to go and stop the war in the middle east by himself.
Cause he is NOT going to settle all the beef in Hip-Hop.
Beef is something that can't be stopped. As long as their are haters
in the world who are hatting on other Emcces then the Hip-Hop Beef is still going to happen..
I think what DJ Clue needs to do is make sure that all this BEEF stays Verbal...
and dosen't get Physical...If we can keep this to (Jay-z-Vs-Nas) for Batlles...
where they get really personal and they dont get physical then i think we may have brighter days in hip-hop.
KAY MAC: WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE HIP-HOP ARTISTS?
VENOMOUS X:unsigned wise....i'm bumping DZK...Fokissed...XV Complex of Kingsmen Productions...Hard Target...Chance of Shadowville Productions
Icceburg...and Poletergesit...
as for Signed and Mainstream...I like...TI...Cassidy...Fabolous...Jermaine Dupri...Jadakiss..Ludacris...The Game...
Xzbit...Nas...DMX....2pac...and The Notorious B.I.G.
KAY MAC:what do you think about the comment nas made about hip-hop being dead?
VENOMOUS X: Ok first off Nas is one of the greatest Hip-Hop artists of all time, and I respect Nas.
but Hip-Hop i don't think is really "dead".
Everybody always says "Rap is what we Do...and Hip-Hop is what we live." But now Everyone is saying "Hip Hop isn't dead
its on life support." But i think that Hip-Hop is alive and well. There are pelenty of People who are bringing heat in Hip-Hop.
Rap isn't as Hot as it has been in the past....
