Dennis Paul
NEWS
Knocking the blocks off of Classic Rock, proving again that Canadian Rock will never die, Dennis Paul introduces a fresh new dynamic to this genre.
With obvious 80's Heavy Metal guitar stylings, and with a touch of Blues and a hint of Folk, he breathes life into a whole new series of hard pounding Classic Rock productions, unique to his many talents as an artist.
While earlier in his career, with a metal band "Guardian", playing the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions and Metallica, back in the day when that sound was fresh, Dennis Paul then hung up his axe to raise a family.
Several years back that guitar came down ... 'hard', keeping a promise, Dennis Paul wrote, recorded and produced his first album as a solo effort in 2004.
Now working on his fifth consecutive solo album effort, titled Glass Hearts, Dennis Paul has been the recipient of many nominations and has held top rank chart positions with several of his songs, with a promise of more to come.
"This next album is Gold, I have learned so much over these last few years, from paper to final mastering, it can take up to 6 weeks to produce each song ... it's very hard, and time demanding work, but I still enjoy every second !!" quotes Dennis in a recent interview, "I write from the soul and often find myself 'Rocking Out' during the editing process, this obviously takes me a little extra time ... I just hope someone out there will feel the need to "Rock Out" to the final cut too!"
