Why this name?
It's my name, and I've grown tired of trying to make up band names that fit my music.
Do you play live?
I play live from time to time, mostly in southern California. I love it - it's a rush! There have been many magical moments on stage. My favorite gigs are probably the shows put on at Orange Coast College, in Costa Mesa, CA. Cool people - great vibes.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, it seems that selling records doesn't tend to happen as often - at least in my eyes. I think the only way we can make any money now with our artform is by performing live.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definetely. Although, I've already started my own label/recording studio chain.
Band History:
I have been making music since I was about 2 1/2 years old. I have studied all types, and I have recorded, produced, arranged, wrote, and engineered all my own stuff since I was about 8 years old.
Your influences?
The Beatles. Pink Floyd. Led Zepplin. But then again, I listen to everything under the sun, and over it. Hip hop, electronica, drum and bass, metal, trip hop, classical. It's all good.
Equipment used:
Tascam 4-track mixer, Boss 8 track-mixer, PC with Hammerhead/Acid/Audigy and some other stuff. Guitar collection: Les Paul, SG, Hammer, Acoustic/electric Olympia, and a Harmony. Bass collection: Hammer Precision, Peavy, and a Mexican Fender Jazz.
Cheap ass Sunlight and Pacific drum sets.
Black Weber baby-grand piano.
80's Casio keyboard.
Stanton turntable.
I don't feel like listing my live equipment.
