ILL BEAST Born in L.E.S. Manhattan and raised up out Bushwick Brooklyn NY. This Mc has the style and the flow of a 90's vet demolishing all productions with hard tone song concepts and raising wareness of his presence. This Mc has faithful music plays every thursday night on Early Vibes Crew on wprk 91.5 fm in Orlando Fl, also has collaborated with many Mc's from Toronto down to the UK, to Spain and the list goes on. Support a true Hip Hop/Rap artist on the rise and be a part of the essence of Hip Hop.
Why this name?
It was a song I was creating by the titl of ILL BEAST, and when really paying mind to what and how I was delivering my music, I felt that it was only right to change my stage name To ILL BEAST. Plus my other stage name another Mc was running with it and I decided to show growth and how creative I can be when detailing my course of work.
Do you play live?
Well my first performance was in club 57 west here in Orlando Fl, and I felt my mics go out twice while performing causing me to loose myself during performing, but I captivated the crowd when I was rocking, so they felt what i was bringing to that stage. But yeah more performances are in store for this year.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well it doesn't because there's many m.c.s like us that need that exposure, and love that feelin of different people listenin 2 ur work. I mean if it takes away from alot of artisits then that means that u suck and ur purpose of bein a talent is shot. LOL
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on what they will offer me, I mean we talking #'s plus #'s plus #'s. Also promotions, I am a big fanatic of romotions, more so the money.
Band History:
1992- Started writing and doing street cyphers.
1993- Recorded my first tragedy of a song. LOl
1994- I was getting more aquainted with freestyle battles.
1995- I recorded my next song and also started Djing in private parties
1996-I created my stage name Antlife
1997-99 Still writing recording and also went to prison which added more fuel to my fire
2002-06 recorded 6 new songs and started getting plays around the neighborhood
2008-present- Recorded with a group by the GI League, also created my own mixtape which is available here. Also started getting radio college plays and growing in many parts of the world. Also have a track on itunes and many other sites worldwide.
