Do you play live?
Not currently playing live but have performed live in a variety of settings including everywhere from LA to the middle of the ocean. Mostly doing studio work now.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I am pretty pleased that the internet has become such a factor in my time, 'cause it is way easier to get exposure for us indie types. Plus when I just want to buy one song instead of the whole album I can. Having an ipod is like having a radio station play all your favorite songs back to back without any commercials.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if they could guarantee I wouldn't end up bankrupt and in a worse financial situation than I began in!
Band History:
Juliet is a professional singer who has sung everything from opera to country to rock, literally around the world. Her two degrees in music have provided a solid foundation for her songwriting, and she is building on it with each new song! Thus far some achievements in writing include being named a runner-up in VH1's Song of the Year Contest, and reaching Broadjam's Top 10 Charts multiple times. She strives to write melodic, vocally driven songs which people can relate to emotionally. Influences include anything from Bob Marley to Bollywood hits, so you will hear a little of everything on her website. However, most recently she has infused her classical vocal training and her love of music from all corners of the world to situate herself in the New Age/World/Vocal genres (i.e. Sarah Brightman, Loreena McKennitt, Enya, Pure Moods) where she can maximize her unique vocal and artistic strengths.
