This isnt really a band, this is my solo project. All the music on here is written, played, recorded, and mixed by me. I play guitar, bass, and drums. Ive been playing for 7 or 8 years now and recording seriously for only about one year.
Why this name?
I got the name from the song -1 by Mudvayne.
Do you play live?
I would like to play live but its hard to do everything by myself at the same time.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There is good and bad. Obviously it helps get the music and get bands recognized. Its a great way to share music. On the other hand, piracy definately cuts into artist's profits.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Definately. Can't distribute by myself.
Band History:
Ive played with a few other musicians over the past few years, always working on my own music on the side. Now im focusing on my solo efforts.
Your influences?
I listen to everything from Dave Matthews to Slipknot. As a drummer, my main influences are Carter Beauford, Matt Mcdonough, David Sylveria(sp?), a little bit of Joey Jordison too. Music wise, a hodgepodge of a lot of things.
