Hello all listeners. My name is Nathan Glassy. I am 16 and am a junior in highschool. I started producing music with fruityloops for about a year and a half now. My DJ name is DJ Extravagant.
Why this name?
Extravagant was actually the name of this incredibly awsome song i wrote. I let people listen to it, and everyone loved it. I started putting DJ Extravagant on everything afterword and it sort of stuck.
Do you play live?
not yet, but really hope to soon. ;)
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet provides a way for begining artists and professional one to get their name out there, get a reputation. It is sort of like a buisness card. The internet also allows people to listen and download mp3's at easy, and since they don't take up much space, it works out.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, what artist wouldn't, unless they just want their music private.
