It's Time For a New Sound and maybe I will start it.
I am a lone artist experimenting in a range of new sounds from techno to mellow trance and also into contemporary new rock ballads. I also occassionally take on remix work for certain people. I own my own small studio which I'm gradually updating with the latest hardware and software.
I'm also studying the dark art of sound engineering and Mastering.

Why this name?
From an episode of Dr Who where the phrase "Without a Face" was mentioned. The Dr Who epsiode was called "Idiot's Lantern".
Do you play live?
Not since my youth during the my Futurist Romantics era, but hopefully one day once I get a good vocalist I may try doing the pub circuit again. At the moment I'm taking singing lessons to get back what I had once lost a long time ago.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It will continue to change the way we're exposed to new sounds. The music industry will have to bow down and try and conform with the internet. You can't fight something of this magnitude.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Dunno. The internet is getting more and more powerful and soon the likes of EMI and SONY will have to kneel before it. Unless the music business changes it's way of stifling creativity for bucks.
