Artist description:
Caustic, erratic, unorthodox music that is loosely tied to a scene people once knew as "Punk Rock." But now, Avril Lavigne is Punk so we are Pop, I guess since we are the oposite of her.
Music Style:
Punk Rock... the atypical kind. You know those weird songs on all the Punk albums in the 80s (Fear - "We Destroy the Family", Dayglo Abortions - "Black Sabbath", Rudimentary Peni - "Vampire State Building", Black Flag - "Black Love", Angry Samoans - "They Saved Hitler's Cock")? There were always 2-4 of them per album. We are influenced by those songs, not the other 7-12. We are also influenced by the 1-3 really revved up, punky songs that you can find on the New Wave albums of the late 70s (Joe Jackson - "Got the Time", DEVO - "Be Stiff", Blondie - "Youth Nabbed as Sniper", XTC - "Chain of Command", Ultravox - "Young Savage").
I guess you could call us Post-Hardcore, but we're really more Post-Post-Hardcore, or post-hardcore Post-Punk, or Artcore, if you will.

Why this name?
Because we yearn for the age when the Japanese dominated the world economy and produced a lot of cartoons featuring girls with really big eyes (esp. before the whole tentacle rape thing came en vogue).
