The Name and early concept was the creation of Josh Pollard, an amazing writer and musician. Then Josh and Xavier met up and started writing New Material together, and called the band "Strike The Assassins," However there were a lot of Assassin named new bands coming out at the time and Josh and Xavier decided the best name was the name Josh had all along. Thus becoming the immortal, Chaosphate!

We do play live. We are currently begining a new tour of the Tri-State area. As for Special moments, every moment that we are together playing music is Very Special, adding a crowd of people to share it with is Living the Dream!

Well simply put, it delivers to a vastly wider crowd. It's able to reach great numbers of people who like to surf and broaden there knowledge. It's the best tool out Today!!!

Absolutely! We are not trying to play for 25yrs. just to make bar money. And our music is heavy enough to deliver to our more aggressive mosh pitt seeking fans, yet melodic enough to capture those seeking the "Alice in Chains" slower hard rock with a touch of Gothic undertones. Which allows us to have an easy path to radio, while still keeping in touch with our roots and where we came from. I think a Major label would benefit from our diversity. That is our Goal.

Chaosphate is made up of music minded individuals. Josh Pollard and Xavier Frost are at the core of it's backbone. With talented guest players and new team mates recently coming on board. We have just finished recording our First 13 song album titled, "Volume I", which can be purchased at our website, www.chaosphate.com. And with an impending tour to start soon.
