The Roberts Brothers Band toured West Virginia and neighboring states in the early eighties. Their concerts at clubs and festivals presented high-energy, in-your-face bluegrass, swing, and jazz. Originally produced as a keepsake for our loyal friends, it is now available for purchase through the internet.
Why this name?
Rick and Randy Roberts formed the nucleus of the band - and it sounded better than the Roberts Roberts Peters Weiland Band
Do you play live?
RBB played extensively in the early eighties - and we've all gone our seperate ways since.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes it pretty easy for musicians to show their stuff - I love it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure - but I don't know about the other guys.

Everything from traditional to alternative bluegrass; swing, jazz, and 70's rock.
Uncle Nappy Head's Clubhouse in Hooker Hollow, West Virginia.
Standard acoustic instruments except for the bass. The live stuff was recorded on a cheap (is their any other kind) cassette through the PA head.
Randy Roberts was one of the hottest banjo players around - a real privilege playin' with the best. Thanks guys!
