Band History:
Chimparade was formed by Ignacio Moreno (guitar) and Licha Mendoza (bass) in October 2002. In one of those coincidences of life, they were drinking wine in a park in the center of Bogotá deciding to make a band. Licha was guitarist but decided to change his six strings for the deeper four strings. After playing for their friends with a drum machine, Cristhian Quimbay entered the Chimparade's life, changing the electronic percussion, for human percussion. In July of 2004, the band suddenly recorded a demo with four songs and one extra track (electronic) made by the vocalist. The demo is called; Demo 2004. One year later, the band make their second studio work called Vol. 0.5 with four new songs.
