I like to try different varieties, so that someone can find something of mine that suits their needs, I also like to occasionally redo a tune from a favorite game of mine.
I did some of this for my senior project, but occasionally I enjoy sitting down and trying to make something happen, late nights tend to work the best.
I still keep them on free download, because that's the kind of nice guy I am. ;-)
Many of my tunes make for good driving music, I find I drive better while listening, just watch the spedometer!

Why this name?
My best friend called a cd I gave him once (not my songs on it), DJ Ben's dance grooves. And I decided Ben Mc. was a cool way to keep my last name short, so voila!
Do you play live?
I don't play live, I just make Mp3's and show them to people.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This Website's Idea of having bands and giving the option to sell or to let people Download a song for free is absolutely genius.
Its also good to have the option to sell singles online, as well as being able to offer it to more people (international).

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Maybe, depends on the conditions of signing...
I'd probly do it more of a side career... I do music as a hobby... not to necessarily to impress people as a profession.

Band History:
I went to my 2006 prom, and one of my best friends told me about a program I could use to write music with on the computer (Fruityloops). So i went home and immediately looked it up, and found an outstanding demo. I have been working with it since. So I thank Ian Schlittler for helping me get started! For Christmas 2006 I was given the Fruityloops edition of FL studio 6, so now i can save my work and redo it if I need to.
Your influences?
Well, any song that I like a lot usually provides a good example as to what kind of things sound good together. Sometimes I'll take a single pattern from a tune, and build my own song off of it.
Favorite spot?
Brodhead, WI
Equipment used:

Anything else...?
Feel free to share any of my songs that you might like. I make it for my enjoyment, but I also like it as something for others to listen to.
