I love to make music but more importantly I understand the need for artist to be conscious of the art (music) we create. Much like an actual artist who paints a picture on a canvas we (recording artist) create images in the minds of the youth and sadly enough impressionable folks well into their 30’s. Don’t get it twisted I love to have fun and party like the next guy but I never want to lose sight of how powerful a voice can be. Music is an avenue for communication to reach the masses in a form most people will accept or at least consider. I want whatever I speak to have a positive impact on whomever may listen; I want to be part of the solution not part of an escalating problem within my community. I don’t get too deep in my music because most people shy away if you hit them too hard over the head with reality but you will find a great mix of on my albums. You will hear the party side of me, the spiritual side and the socially conscious side of Timm Knight T.L.I. (the light inside)

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Almost indifferent at this point, its seems most people don't want to support the artist who makes their favorite songs. Though it costs to make manufacture and promote the music which we love. Some view as just another song, so its good in a since for that consumer who can buy music cheap.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If its the right situation for both.
