Track 1
Skanky consists of mainly 2 guys Aaron with the guitar and songwriting talent and Tim on the drums and the occasional folk effort. They have played with a couple of different base players but for recording purposes Aaron will lay down the track. In a bit a of a rebuilding phase at the moment but we thought we would throw a couple of our old tracks out there for you guys to critic.
Why this name?
It was going to be Skanky chicks because we like the look of 'em and we were hoping to get a couple to dance while we did a set, but they all wanted to sing so we assed that idea and just left the Skanky part.
Do you play live?
We had a reasonably regular gig at a local night club but there were payment issues so now Aaron just does his 1 man show for some extra green on the weekends.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens the door for more talented folk to get there music out to the masses instead of the lucky few.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As long as it was for 100 million dollars.

Your influences?
Aaron and I are both Nirvana and Pearl Jam fans, Aaron being the more passionate won can tell you every song off every cd ever written almost.I just like something catchy that means something, mainly Ben Harper style wranglings.
Favorite spot?
Home is where the heart is.
Equipment used:
Tim has a nasty old 7 piece Tama kit on a rusty Gibraltar cage with some Zildjans hanging on all corners and some Paste high hats.
Aaron has some Fender gear an Epiphone Black Beauty and a few others with Marshall Amps linking it all together.
