I am not really a band, but I am a songwriter who is deaf, but does perform. I mainly write for others and hope to eventually have some cuts someday. I have been writing since I was 12 years old. I am 35 now. I have a cochlear Implant that allows me to hear, and I am proud of my accomplishments as a writer. I Have been the Coordinator for the NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) Regional Workshop in Tulsa Oklahoma for the last 3 years. Do you play live?
I do play on some writers nights around Tulsa Oklahoma When I am in town. The picture on file is a performance from a writers night there at the Hall of Fame on music row in Nashville Tn.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
as long as the artist supports the use of their material online without pay, then I am all for it. it gives unsigned artist an outlet for their music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Most definately.
Your influences?
I have been inspired by a vast range of artist. From Garth Brooks, to Beethoven, to James Taylor, to Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, to Richard Marx. I write in several styles including R&B,Pop,Country,Childrens, and Christian.
Favorite spot?
Nashville Tn.
