Why this name?
My real name is Darryl...and for some reason, I'm attracted to dogs. I was a big fan of Snoop Dogg as well. And I decided to name myself D-Dogg The Barker at first. I dropped The Barker and became D-Dogg.
Do you play live?
Monroe, Louisiana. Only special moment so far was my graduation.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure...if they have their heads in the right place. They also have to let me go at my own pace so I don't wear myself out.
Your influences?
Eminem is my major influence right now. He's the one that got me to improve on my vocab. Will Smith/Bone Thugs N Harmony was my first influence. They are the ones that got me interested in rapping.
