Basically I spit real hiphop, like stimulating ur mind type hiphop ya know? but I also like to try to diversify and mess around with different types of styles.. but not getting to outta character, I gotta stay true. But basically I just spit because its a thing I do(very often) so I just keep on doing it. Seems some people have takened a liking to my style, those few that have come acrossed it(because I haven't really gone out of my way to get my music across) so I just do what I do.
Why this name?
I chose NeS because its my first, middle and last initials.
Do you play live?
I have never performed live, although that would be tight. But I would say that I wanna practice my craft a little more before I decide to even attempt to get on stage and perform.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet changed the music industry in a big way. Because it gives people the oppurtunity to spread their music in another form, instead of just going in the streets or whatever and slanging cds. Now u can spread it throughout the internet which in its own little way, is another form of a world.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I mean maybe, but I don't see anybody like "yo I wanna sign u right now!" at this point. I just feel like im good enough yet. But hey if the time ever came I probrably would if it was a decent label.
Your influences?
You know the same ol as most people as far as in the hiphop community, Pac, B.I.G, Eminem, Big L, Nas, Jay-z, Rakim etc. etc. just to name a few in no specific order. I also like jazz music too, no specific artist I just like laid, kick back and chill type music ya know. But I also like music that can get u hyped too.
Favorite spot?
i aint' traveled much, Id like to though but my favorite spot is just maryland in general im biased to it because im from there ;0)
Equipment used:
A microphone, headphones and simple recording program lol that's it for now, until some betta comes and hits me on the head.
