I`m actually a solo singer, and I go by Krys. My real name is Krystle but Krys is my nick name as well as my stage name. Nothing too crazy. Just somethin` to put out there so everyone knows me. I write MOST of my own songs, and I sing and rap, so I`m kinda multi-talented. I have only been rapping for about a year... but i just got serious about it. I wanted to have more than just one talent so i`ve been workin at it for a while and i`m pretty good. Singing... i`ve been doing it forever so that`s no problem wit me and it`s my dream. you`re guarenteed to see my name in lights some day soon. And no i`m not COCKY... i just believe in me.
Why this name?
It`s my nick name, that most people know me by. I used to be in a group called Tru Colors with my bestfriend/god-sister but our intrests kinda "grew apart" i guess. But yea Krys was actually thought of by her... so i gotta shout ha out fa that.
Do you play live?
Yep I perform sometimes. But I will definatley be having more as soon as I get more producers and people talkin` to me. But yea I LOVE it. It just gives me a feeling that I can`t describe... and then the best feeling in THE WORLD is walkin off that stage and just KNOWIN that I kilt it. =]
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes it a lot because a lot of bands and groups and artists that wanna make it are now putting their mp3`s on the internet to get heard and to get discovered and ti`s actually working. That`s why i`m doing it.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course I would !!
Band History:
I`ve been singing since I was little and i`ve always known that this is what i wanted to do. A lot of teenage girls go through their "I wanna be famous stages" But to me it`s much more than that. And it`s not a stage or phase. I don`t wanna be famous because of the money. I want the world to hear my music and to love me for me. And to love my talent like I do. I started singing live when I was little in my school musicals and i have had a solo EVERY year in every play from 1st grade all tha way up to 8th grade. I`m in the 9th grade now but i took drama this year to get another performing art on my record for colleges. So yea.
Your influences?
Definatley Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, And Toni Braxton. These three ladies I have been listening to ALL my life and I know ALL the words to the majority of their songs. Others I look up to would be Christina Milian, Alicia Keys, Ciara, and Aalyah [ R.I.P ].
Favorite spot?
Los Angeles California, and home of course.

I just want this more than anything in the world. Everyone has a thing... and singing is mine and I know i will make it one day and no one is going to take it away from me. God gave me this talent so I could shine, and that`s what I`m going to do. I`m not going to let it go to waste. I`m going to let the WHOLE world know who I am and what I do.. and that`s sing.
