Hailing from Aberdeen, Scotland we are Freeline. We are a four piece alternative rock band who play catchy and to the point rock song for a broad audience to enjoy.
Why this name?
It was a rush to choose the name for our first demo that we had just recorded and out of a few we picked and stuck to FREELINE
Do you play live?
We as a band like to play live music. We have played in a few pubs but our favourite gigs have been Torry Rock 2000 and 2001. This a outdoor festival which is arranged for the local bands in our area, Torry. This arranged by the Torry Youth Project and the newly founded Torry Rock Forum. Playing live is and always will be a major fact in our music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It lets your music be heard by a broader audiece and is significant for unsigned bands as it will hopefully get you noticed and heard by people that would just go out and buy your music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes. It is every bands dream to sign to a major label and we are no different. Signing to a major label would mean people giving us lots of time to perfect your recordings and make sure everything is spot on.
Band History:
