One time I ran 5 volts of electricity through a quarter pound of raw ground beef as it cooked on a george foreman. the unsteadily increasing resistance was recorded by a g4 running a patch that produced a drone with an unsteadily increasing subharmonic. as the meat cooked, the resistance rose and the subharmonic increased in amplitude. this performance made a few people nauseous.

There will always be a demand for music. There may not always be a music industry.

I am interested in networked arts because they extend beyond the individual.
This is cool for three reasons:

1) Networks decentralize control.
2) The individual cannot keep up with the innovations of the tech industry.
3) If you bend them, their material frailty comes into focus.
