Marlan (Musically All That),was fortunate enough to have beeen Involved with some of the greatest Music minds of all time. He was Inspired by longtime friend "Craig Lecour" to meet Vince (Prince) Gibbs who allowed Rico Lee to record in his home studio and at age 24 Rico Joined a rap group with Dogg Pounds "Dazz Dillinger" and Friend Emanuel. There it was realized that he was an above average song composer. He soon after joined "The PPI Band " supervised by Keith and Ronnie Selmon and later got a break with Dr Ronald English and built his first recording studio along with Rudy Scott. While spending Time with Jimmy Jam (James Harris III) in 92 He decided to take Jimmy Jams Advise and persue Producing. He was Taught was educated in the studio by business man and childhood friend, Spencer Tillman (News Anchorman for College Sports and Also NFL football player for the San Fransisco 49rs and Houston Oilers).

Motown is one of my favorite influences as is Prince, Michael Jackson, Paul and David Mc Connell,Craig Lecour, ScarFace, Melly Mel, Daddio, Eric B and Rakeem, Jazzy Jeff, LL Cool J, DeBarge, KRS 1, Cameo, DJ DMD
, Danny Jackson, Fred Hammond, Dr Dre, Earth Wind and Fire, and Charlie Wilson with The Gap Band, and Morris Rentie Jr. Bill Haegen and Vince (Prince)Gibbs.

Graduating with classmate John Starks of the NBA and attending School with Spencer Tillman of the NFL and Ebony Fashion fair Model Sophia Henderson, He realized he was Among the best the world had to offer. He is very proud of his home city Tulsa Oklahoma and his African American/American Indian Heritage.
Marlan Rico Lee, a humble man of many talents,Is a man who's name will last throughout the ages. His Talents far exceed most composers. And his faliures tower other mens successes. There are those who believe that a prodical child (Wonder Children) doesn't exist.
