The music industry has never seen such a diverse female artist. But, the unorthodox mixture of southern style beats and a somewhat east coast delivery is refreshingly different from what rap and hip-hop fans are accustomed to hearing, especially from a female. But, The Don is ready to head rap and hip-hop into another direction.

Drek a.k.a The Don is from Albany, GA; home of Field Mob, the newest rap group to be signed by DTP. The Don is not new to the art of lyrical delivery. She started writing her own lyrics at the age of fourteen and has had a keen interest in it every since.

The Don's much anticipated album entitled, That Boi So Gutta, is scheduled for an August 2006 release. The first single off the album entitled, Dikk No More, is receiving heavy spins in the local clubs. With her second single set to be released at the end of June 2006, there is no limit as to the type of fan base that she will build.

When asked the question, What is going to be your contribution to rap/ hip-hop, The Don smiled and said, Kimberly I am exploring and delivering a whole new diverse spectrum of music. Rap and hip-hop are versions of truth and I am just letting the people hear what my truth is all about. And with that being said, I have no doubt that The Don will be the next rap and hip-hop phenomenon.
