Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yeah, I would sign so I could get my music pushed but labels aren't signing producers.

Band History:

I been interested in music since I was a young and I got my inspiration from songs I was hearing on the radio but, My uncle was the first person I ever saw making a beat on the Roland TR808 and another Boss/Roland drum machine and was inspired to be a producers ,back when Tascam tape multi-track recorders was popping. I search beatmaking programs for your computer and came around Fruityloops 2 demo that let you export mp3s my computer was shitty and if it went to sleep you would lose your beat.After buying a copy of FL 6 I started using Reason and Pro Tools M-Powered.
From Reason I went out and bought some hardware like the Yamaha MM6,rM1x,Korg Triton,Akai MPC 1000 and gang of midi controllers (some of them work and so don't)
I'm currently try to find artist seeking album/demo tracks only I'm not trying to do anything free you want something that could get us a plague on the wall not local celebrity.
I been working on a lot demo either with recording,engineering,sampling, drummer,automating songs I'm trying to get back into my post production so if you need to see my previous work email me for a link.
