Most of my music is inspired by someone or some event in my life. Most songs have stories behind them. I've been writing songs for about 2 years and have been playing guitar for about three. I lead worship on Wednesday nights at my church.
Do you play live?
Yes.- I've won second place at a christian talent competition once for my music, which I played live. I've also played for a very very special person live once. I played her the songs written about her....and she loved them.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made it a ton easier for me to find music I like, and I can check out a bands' sound before I decide to buy one of their cds, which is very convienent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If they didn't cause me to conflict my values, if they didn't have a problem with me being a christian artist, and if it was Gods' will for my life; yes.
Your influences?
Tom Petty, Coldplay, Bright Eyes, Copeland, Third Day, Michael W. Smith , Johnny Cash, sigur ros, Dashboard confessional, Bart Millard, By the Tree, Iron and Wine, Straylight Run, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, Disney songs, Randy Newman, Five for Fighting, Matt Wertz, Matt Nathanson, James Blunt, Jason Mraz, Greg Brown,
