Hello to all of ya!

Zeny Scarlet is an all-filipino band residing in Metro Manila. Our aim is to place a mark in true hybrid music, and to implement a much-needed theoretical force in the field of modern corporate-controlled music industry, often using popular 19th/20th century lieder/song structures and Troubadour-Rondo forms as a way to conveniently swerve through the different levels of mass listening.
Why this name?
After the end of World War II, the world was split into two, East and West. This marked the beginning of the end, and Superman gave up his set of briefs for the name Zeny Scarlet.
Do you play live?
Yes, around Metro Manila. Half of the gigs were crap, but our one-time BOTB experience brought us some nice memories...and a trophy. But as of this moment, our reunion gig was the most awesome experience ever!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Let's face it: nobody buys CDs anymore for their audio needs. The answer to this question is obvious, but we'd still prefer that classic cassette tape, hands down.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah, but first they have to finish Castlevania: Symphony of the Night using a Front-Slide Edge Travel technique to skip a specific boss in order to obtain 0 kills at the final save point.
Band History:
Zeny Scarlet was formed in late 2004, wherein current members Louie and Gideon decided to form a traditional musical combo between the border of solid Filipino rock and diversified genres such as blues and contemporary metal. From then on, vocalist Oliver graced the band's signature, and bassist Joseph filled in the bassist position after a no. of replacements. After a 4 year hibernation, the band reunited and guitarist Tatit joined the force. And then, there was light at the end of the tunnel.
Your influences?
The band has been listening to a lot of bands, and were influenced mainly by 70s-early 90s modern rock, including other filipino acts, and other bands in the blues category, classical/romantic genre, as well as deep listening such as thrash, progressive and power metal.
