I am Paata Charashvili. I was born in 1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. I attended secondary school from 1988-97.In 1998, I entered college at Georgia Technical University, were I am majoring in Telecommunications Systems. My musical career included seven years of study on the piano at the classical music school, which I completed in 1994. During high school my hobby was music. While studding music I participated in many concerts and festivals. In 1997, I received the first place award for music in a national cultural festival, in which I played on the guitar and sang. In 1999, I played at the Language Academy's 50th Anniversary Celebration, where I again received the first place award.
In 1997 I formed the rock band, Never Mind. In the band there is a lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass guitar, turn table and drums. The music and lyrics, which are in English, are all my original compositions. I am the lead guitarist and singer for the group. I play in local and national festivals and concerts. In the past three years, has performed in sixteen’s concerts. Apart from me, the members of the group have changed since its inception.
I have four recorded demo albums. The style is different, but mostly alternative rock – neo metal. Some of songs have been recorded live and some of them with drum machine.
In 2003 came out the independent rock music compilation “Discovery” in the United Kingdom which includes my song “I will”.
Also I was participated in 2004 at the alternative rock festival “Aerials 2004” which took place in Groningen, Netherlands.
