Why this name?
Actually... the main astist that I work with, Young 1'Der gave me the name Dav-D. This was when I really got into beat production. I was trying to find a name that was catchy and he just said it "Ay,what about Dav-D?" I had thought about that, but I didn't think it would really stick but once he said it to, that was it.
Do you play live?
I don't pla any instruments live, but I do beatbox.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Noy much it just gives upcoming an outlet in which to let people hear thier material.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes
Your influences?
Um well I'm most influenced by myself. I don't really liste to alot of music, in order not pick up anybody elses style. Although my two favorite producers are Rick RoC and Pharell.
Favorite spot?
The favorite place...Southern Cali.
Equipment used:
FL Studio 6, Reason 2.0, Oxygen 8 Keyboard, and hopefully an MPC soon. Once I get that ya'll other producer better be on Ya'll game!
