HURTLE BLUE is a project betwixt Rotcod Zzaj & John Sosnowski (with guest appearances by Harlan Mark Vale and John Alkins). It received rave reviews in 'zines like AUTOREVERSE. The music approaches the universe from a "different" angle, but it is still an all-consuming and powerful musical experience. This is one of the BEST to come out of the Zzaj studios - EVER!
Why this name?
I believe it had something to do with lightning & 1930's romance songs.
Do you play live?
Hard to do, since we have never met each other, except via the web.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It was the vehicle for the "birth of th' (Hurtle) blue".
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Certainly!
Your influences?
Cattails in the wind & cows lowing.
Favorite spot?
Olympia, Washington
Equipment used:
Minimal; pretty basic 4-track to digital.
